Using the two timelines of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones first United States tour we can learn about the differences between these two groups even in their first few years of performing. The Beatles performed in far more cities with far greater media coverage. The Rolling Stones performed only around nine concerts. The Beatles and the Rolling Stones performed in similar cities, but never at the same venues, most likely because of the amount of fans being far greater at the Beatles concerts versus the Rolling Stones concerts. The Beatles' US tour was far better document with exact times and number of people recorded, while the Rolling Stones tour was not documented in great detail.
